- Audience
- Active 12 Sports Consulting client families (parents and athletes) who have opted in. SMS is not available to prospects, leads, or general site visitors.
- Message types
- Time-sensitive recruiting notifications: NCAA recruiting period changes, camp registration deadlines, regulatory or rule changes, signing windows, and similar advisory communications. No promotional or marketing content.
- Message frequency
- Variable. Typically a few messages per month per recipient. Volume rises during active recruiting windows (junior days, signing periods) and falls during off-season.
- Message and data rates
- Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. 12 Sports Consulting does not charge for SMS.
- Help
- Reply HELP at any time, or email rudy@12sportsconsulting.com.
- Opt out
- Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT at any time. You may also disable text alerts in the client portal.
Active clients opt in inside the secure client portal.
SMS is a value-add for active 12 Sports Consulting client families. The opt-in flow is:
- A family becomes an active 12 Sports Consulting client by completing onboarding (consultation, signed Client Service Agreement, payment).
- Inside the secure client portal at
https://www.12sportsconsulting.com/portal/profile, the parent or guardian sees a section labeled Text alerts. - The section displays the program name, message types, frequency, "Message and data rates may apply" disclosure, HELP/STOP instructions, and links to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- The parent checks the box labeled "I want to receive text alerts" and saves. Consent is logged with a timestamp.
- The parent receives a confirmation that text alerts are enabled. Messages begin only after this point.
The opt-in toggle defaults to off. Consent is never assumed or pre-checked. Mobile numbers collected during onboarding are not enrolled in SMS unless the parent affirmatively enables the toggle.

Text alerts
Get text alerts for time-sensitive recruiting updates, camp deadlines, NCAA period changes, anything urgent enough to interrupt your day. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
What enrolled families actually receive.
All outbound messages identify the brand, contain time-sensitive advisory content, and include opt-out instructions in the same message body or in the program-level footer.
Mobile data is never sold or shared.
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are never shared with third parties, affiliates, or any other entity for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS data is used exclusively for sending the advisory communications described on this page.
